There are many reasons that people develop a fear of flying, the most common underlying cause is the feeling of loss of control, not knowing what is happening, especially with turbulence, and claustrophobia, being in a confined space with other people and not being able to exit the situation resulting in feeling trapped with no relief.

There is also an increased perception of danger, something terrible happening or having a panic attack mid-flight.

At the initial consultation we will decide how many sessions you will require, however for a straightforward fear it should take between two and four sessions.
